Meet Our Staff
Bernard and Karen Showers
Bernard and Karen not only own and run both the Fredericksburg and Jonestown daycares, but they also own Mane Street Junction Tanning and Beauty Salon and Showers' Landscaping and Snow Removal. When they are not working they enjoy spending time with their 6 children and 10 grandchildren.
Amanda Koch
Director of Fredericksburg Daycare and has been employed with Showers Daycare and Preschool since 2008.
Education: Tulpehocken High School '08, Currently attending Post University for Early Childhood Education online
Amanda lives in Fredericksburg with her significant other, her 4 children and mini dacshund, Brownie. They enjoy playing and gardening outside, taking day trips and having movie nights at home.
Favorite colors are pink and turquoise
Fun fact about Amanda: Makes crafts, decorations and lots of new recipes at home. Also a Pinterest addict.
Favorite Children's book: Dr. Seuss and Mr. Brown Can Moo, Can You?
Hayley Pfautz
Aide at Fredericksburg Daycare and has been employed at Showers Daycare and Preschool since 2014.
Education: Annville Cleona High School '12, Lebanon County Career and Technology Center '12 (Cosmetology)
Hayley lives with her significant other and her dog Teddy in Fredericksburg. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, going on vacation to new places and taking cake decorating classes with mom.
Favorite color is red
Fun fact about Hayley is she would like to attend college for Psychology.
Favorite Children's book: The Franklin the Turtle Series.
Beverly Graham
Assistant Group Supervisor at Fredericksburg Daycare and has been employed with Showers Daycare and Preschool since 2009.
Education: Graduated from Eastern Lebanon High School, some college in University of South Dakota and took online classes at Penn Foster.
Beverly lives in Jonestown with her significant other and is a grandmother of 20 grandchildren. She has 2 sons, 5 stepsons and a stepdaughter. She ran her own daycare out of her home for 2 years.
Favorite colors are blue and mint green
Fun fact about Beverly is she loves children, the elderly and animals. Doing crafts, watching movies and listening to music.
Alicia Showers
Aide at Fredericksburg Daycare and has been employed with Showers Daycare and Preschool since 2012.
Education: Graduated from Northern Lebanon High School.
Alicia lives with her fiance, son, Kayden and dog Lily in Myerstown. She enjoys spending time with her family and going swimming.
Favorite color is blue
Fun fact about Alicia is she wants to start planning her wedding soon.
Favorite Children's book: Dr. Seuess' Green Eggs and Ham.
Kayla Showers
Aide at Jonestown Daycare and has been employed with Showers Daycare and Preschool since 2012.
Education: Senior at Northern Lebanon High School '14
Kayla is a senior at NL, there she is President of Shade and involved in Sadd.
Favorite color is pink
Fun fact about Kayla is she a cheerleading coach for Northern Lebanon.
Favorite Children's book: Lucy in the Playground with her Daddy.
Heather Gladwell
Director of Jonestown Daycare and has been employed with Showers Daycare and Preschool since 2008.
Education: Hamburg Area High School '02. Northampton Community College '04 Associates degree in Early Childhood Education
Heather lives with her husband Todd, stepson Michael and daughter Julia. I enjoy reading and spending time with family.
Favorite color is teal
Fun fact about Heather is she makes up songs and anything to have fun with the kids.

Jessica Beidler
Group Supervisor at Jonestown Daycare and has been employed with Showers Daycare and Preschool since 2010.

Jessica lives at home with her parents and 3 dogs. She njoys spedning time excercising, being outdoors and learning new things and also enjoys visiting new places.
Favorite color is yellow
Fun fact about Jessica is she was the key note speaker at her tech graduation and would like to obtain a full time teaching job in an urban school.

ToniRae Daub Michael
Assistant Group Supervisor at Jonestown Daycare and has been employed with Showers Daycare and Preschool since 2012.
Education: Northern Lebanon High School '09. University of Phonix Associates '11 Criminal Justice. Liberty University for Bachelors Degree.
ToniRae lives with her husband and two children Kaylee and Keden. She likes reading and learning about new things.
