Regular Payment

Childcare fees are due in advance and payable no later than 5:30pm on the FRIDAY preceding each week prior to your child's attendance. Clients should keep in mind that they are contracting for days and times to reserve a childcare space. This slot of time must be paid for whether it is used or not. No deductions or refunds will be made for days your child is absent or sick. We do no operate on a per-diem tuition schedule, only full-time or part-time slots will be offered.

Definitions of Full and Part-Time

Full time~Care of a child for 10 hours a day anytime between 5:00am and 5:30pm

Part time~Care of a child for 4 hours 59 minutes (not 5 hours) a day between 5:00am and 5:30pm

School Age Full time~Care before and after school

School Age Part time~Care either before after school

 

Fees are due and payable in advance of care.
Late payment fees-$10.00 a day will be assessed if your regular payment is NOT received by 5:30pm the week prior to your next week of care. Continued late payments will be reason for dismissal of the program.

 

Nonpayment/Partial Payments

Nonpayment of fees, including those incurred for insufficient funds checks will NOT be accepted.

 

Checks

Payments may be made in cash or by check. Receipts' will be written for all payments quarterly for tax reporting purposes. Any bad check received at Showers' Daycare will cause the PARENTS to be charged at ($25.00) returned check fee, plus any bank charges incurred by the PROVIDER as a result of the PARENTS' check being dishontored. In addition, all future childcare payments must be made in cash.

Late Pickup Fees

Hours in excess of the 5:30pm closing time will be billed at $.50 for the first minute late and $1.00 for ever minute thereafter. This policy will be strictly enforced. Please be courteous to our staff as we have other obligations after our work day is through, just like everyone else.

 

Reservations

Parents who are searching for childcare weeks and months prior to the care start date may choose to reserve a childcare slot. To reserve an available slot parents must complete the contract and begin payments of 1/2 of the weekly fee. Clients who choose to have their child out of care once the contract begins must give notice and take their chances there will be an opening when they wish to return to care or continure to pay the regular weekly fee.
